레자우딘 스탈린(Rezauddin Stalin) 시인은 1962년 방글라데시 Greater Jessore 지역의 Nalbhanga 마을에서출신이다. 그는 시인이자 방글라데시의 방송인이며 나즈룰 연구소의 부국장이다. 그는 Bangla Academy를 비롯한 다수의 국내외 수상 경력이 있고 그의 시는 세계 42개 언어로 번역되었다.

뱃속 어디든 시선을 던진다

길의 모반이 어디에 숨겨져 있는지 알 수 있어

도적들이 성자로 변장하여 공격할 때

대장장이 친구들의 부러움을 증폭시키는 가게는 어디일까?

돌말이 꿈을 먹어치울 때 잠의 문을 부수고

자궁 속에 누워서 다 볼 수 있어.

구름으로 만든 눈은 눈물의 태양을 에워싸고

친구인지 적인지 누가 알겠어?

어쩌면 아는 게 없을지도 모르지!

무식한 사람은 현명한 척한다

신중한 사람인 것처럼

I cast my eyes wherever I go in the womb

 

I can see where the birthmarks of the path are hidden

When the bandits attack in the guise of a saint

In which shop of blacksmith friends sharpen their envy

When the stone horse eats up the dreams breaking the door of sleep

Lying in the mother’s womb I can see all

The eyes made of cloud encircle the sun of tears

Who knows how much between friends or foes

Maybe there is nothing to know

The ignorant pretend to be wise

Like the prudent ones

They control the destiny of the world though

If not born in their aura you are to be a sinner

My abandoned eyes look at them in disdain

And act as a blind one

To live in the oblivious time
